Sorry haven’t been busy on the site much the last week, been a bit crazy, and also working on a couple side projects, but should be adding some more site this weekend, but remember you can add your favorite store, bar or club like Rory and help others who are looking for absinthe. Just click on the Submit Location link on the top menu and add it!
Well today I added a couple restaurants to Arizona, some liquor stores to Georgia and South Carolina and New York and a bar to New York.
Also sent some more request for info on some clubs around Atlanta Georgia.
Remember I can always use your help with finding new places to get absinthe, so submit your favorite spot, or just let me know the name and where it is so I can find it, every submission helps.

I had hoped to add some more tonight, but I was researching some in New York City, and unfortunately they had all closed, or had changed management 
Well that is to be expected in New York. Anyway I will be adding some more locations this weekend, I have a list of some more places to research and some emails out to some places.

I got information back about The Association and the Cole in LA and have updated their info.
Just added 5 stores in the Buffalo NY area thanks to sardonix.

I have asked my friends at Wormwood Society to help with this, and Tami was one of the first to help out, and I am looking forward to the other submittals I have been told are coming from other members.
Remember this project needs your help, if you know of a store, bar, nightclub or restaurant that sells absinthe, and it isn’t in the system here, add it.

Finally the site is functional, and has some nice things going on, now for the important part, getting the information about the places that have absinthe! Like an absinthe glass without absinthe, the site without information is not very enjoyable. Unfortunately I don’t have anyone paying me or sponsoring me to travel across the country finding all the stores, bars, club, and restaurants that have absinthe (but if anyone is interested in doing so, let me know 
) So I need your help, basically I want to crowd source the data collection for the site. I have put a submission form on the site so if you know of someplace that has absinthe, click on the Submit Location link on the menu and enter the information, if you don’t know all the info, that’s fine, I can try and fill in the blanks, just give me what you can, but the more you can, the more time I have to work on other parts of the site .

Things have been busy between work, school, and life in general. I have been studying for a programming certification I want to take at the end of summer and also working on another absinthe related web project, so time has been hard to find to work on the site. I finally decided to put a push on it this weekend, the database is up and functional, as is the search and map interface. I have done some quick work getting the site at least presentable, the current look is not my final vision, but I want to get this going and start collecting data for the database, and start getting feedback.
Keep checking in, things are moving.
